Maxibor’s highly regarded and experienced team have developed their capabilities in the design and install of HDD solutions and civil works for projects and programs of work spanning over 25 years.
No project is too complex for Maxibor. Our engineering design expertise has been involved in major long distance and large diameter gas, water, cable landings and outfall installations in Australia and overseas. We thrive in all ground conditions including hard rock and water charged sand by finding innovative solutions and meeting challenges that deter other contractors.
Maxibor’s professional trenchless technology design and engineering services encompass bore alignment plans and profiles, drilling fluid fracture gradient analysis, mechanical analysis of drilling operations and RPEQ certification of the HDD bore design and product pipe installed loads.
Our first and most important priority is safety. We target the constant goal of zero workplace accidents or injuries through an active employee awareness program. We document safety procedures systematically for each project.
We take great pride and care in the quality of our services. The extent of repeat invitations to bid into and deliver on projects bears testament to the level of response we consistently achieve.
We work in a collaborative manner with our asset owner and principal contractor customers to achieve optimal outcomes for all stakeholders. Customers regularly seek our early advice on projects in the design stage to optimise outcomes. Our knowledge sharing approach enables better designs and bid documents and significantly reduces the likelihood of “surprise” contract variations to the asset owner and principal contractor.
We work directly with infrastructure asset owners such as Sydney Trains and water authorities including Hunter Water, Central Coast Council, Logan City Council and Livingstone Shire Council. We have also undertaken many projects for leading tier 1 principal contractors including Comdain, CPB, John Holland, MPC Kinetic, UGL, Lendlease, Downer, Visionstream, BMD and Laing O’Rourke.
